Terms of Service

Bookings are with the venue

Each venue sets its own courts, prices, payment rules and cancellation rules, and shows them before you pay. Your court booking is an agreement between you and the venue.

Your account

You sign in with your mobile number and a verification code. Keep your name and number accurate.

Paying

• When you continue to payment, we hold the time for 10 minutes. If payment isn't completed by then, the time is released.
• Your booking is confirmed only after the payment succeeds.
• Payments are processed by Stripe and go to the venue.
• If a payment arrives after the time was released and someone else has booked it, we refund you in full.
• After 3 unpaid holds within 24 hours, online booking at that venue is paused for 24 hours.

Text messages (CourtLoop booking texts)

• If you turn on texts, we send texts about your bookings: a confirmation, a reminder before your booking, and a notice if a booking couldn't be completed.
• Message frequency varies with how often you book: up to 2 messages per booking (a confirmation or a notice that it couldn't be completed, and a reminder before it starts).
• Msg & data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out. To get texts again, reply START to our last text, then turn texts on on the booking page.
• Reply HELP for help, or email hello@courtloop.ca.
• Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Texts are sent only to Canadian and US mobile numbers.

Fair use

Don't misuse the service, hold times you don't intend to pay for, or try to access other people's bookings or data.

Liability

We work to keep CourtLoop available and accurate, but the service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for a venue's facilities or its decisions about your booking.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and of Canada.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date.
