Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your name, mobile number and email address.
• Your bookings: venue, court, date and time, price and status.
• Payment information. You enter card details on Stripe's checkout page; they never reach us. We keep the amount, the payment status and any refund.
• Your text message choice, when you made it, and the delivery status of each message we send.
• Technical information needed to keep you signed in and to protect the service, such as cookies, your IP address and your browser type.

How we use it

• To sign you in with a code sent to your phone.
• To make, show and manage your bookings, and to take payment for them.
• To send booking confirmations, reminders before your booking, and a notice if a booking couldn't be completed: by email, and by text if you turn texts on.
• To prevent misuse, for example pausing online booking after repeated unpaid holds.
• To run, secure and fix the service.

The venue you book with

Your payment goes to the venue's own Stripe account. With it, the venue receives what you enter at checkout: your email address, and payment details such as the card brand, its last four digits and your billing details. If the venue keeps a card on file to guarantee bookings, it also receives your name, mobile number and email address. We don't sell your information to venues or anyone else.

Service providers

We use these companies to run CourtLoop. They process data only to provide their service to us:

• Clerk: sign-in and verification codes;
• Stripe: payments;
• Twilio: text messages;
• Resend: email;
• Supabase: our database, hosted in Canada;
• Vercel: hosting.

Some of them process data in the United States.

Text messages

• Texts are optional and off unless you turn them on.
• We only send texts about your bookings.
• To stop, reply STOP to any text or turn texts off on the booking page.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The sharing described above does not include text messaging opt-in data and consent; these are never shared with any third parties.

We don't sell personal information

We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and booking records while you use CourtLoop and as long as needed for accounting, legal and dispute purposes. You can ask us to delete your account.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct your information, or withdraw consent to optional uses like texts, by emailing hello@courtloop.ca.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
